I come from a long lineage of storytellers and creatives. And while I’ve always had an activist spirit, it wasn’t until I started working in climate change in 2014 that I found a meaningful way to channel it.

I have spent the last 17 years in marketing, brand strategy, and strategic communications — first, for the ski tourism and outdoor industries, then for environmental nonprofits, and most recently the cleantech and renewable energy sectors. I am deeply committed to leveraging my education, skill set, and experience to take complex information and craft compelling and creative content and moments that move the needle for mission-driven organizations.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University and over the years I’ve built a career (and a life) rooted in curiosity and integrity. I’ve lived in the American West for 16 years—splitting time between Colorado and California—and feel most at home either in the mountains or by the water.

Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, snowboarding, paddleboarding, playing tennis, traveling to challenge my perspective and practice my Spanish (especially in Oaxaca, my unofficial second home), or reading anything I can get my hands on. Despite having the good fortune to have traveled extensively to some of the most beautiful place’s on the planet—and currently residing in Los Angeles—my parent’s front porch overlooking Lake Michigan remains my favorite, and most grounding, place in the world.
